Open Date: 11/04/09 Close Date: Department: 4th Floor Peds/Oncology Position: 4th Floor Peds/Onc RN Duty Hours: FT 7p-7a Requirements: Must be licensed by the State of Kentucky (mulitstate) as an RN. Excellent clinical skills and good bedside manner. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Pediatric experience required. PALS certification preferred. Chemo certification preferred. Position Responsibilities: Charge nurse and all skilled activities per Kentucky State Board of Nursing. Collaborates with physicians and other care givers to meet the needs of the pediatric pt. Patient assessment, treatment and documentation. Administers medications, participates in CQI studies. Good decision making capabilities, works well with others and able to function with minimal supervision. Supervises LPN's CNA's and Unit Secretaries.
