Open Date: 08/27/09 Close Date: Department: Sleep Lab Position: Sleep Lab Tech Duty Hours: PRN 7p-7a Requirements: RPSGT/Registry eligibility preferred, by BRPT or eligible to take exam. Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory. Current BLS/CPR certification. PRN covers the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday coverage of the week. Position Responsibilities: Recording of artifact-free polysomnographic studies using a wide variety of physiological parameters. Must monitor patients, monitor performance of CPAP titration, multiple sleep latency tests, scoring of sleep data. Comply with the standards of conduct as outlined by the BRPT and all hospital administrative policies Must participate in continuous Quality Improvement within the department Must be able to accurately score sleep records wiht little supervison, perform daytime PSG's, MSLT's and MWT's.
