Educational Programs

With Jennie Stuart Medical Center's mission being to improve the health and well-being of the community it serves, Community Education proves a major priority by JSMC's regular schedule of lectures, classes and other community services offered each year.

Individuals can take advantage of a wide variety of health programs offered including prenatal classes, Lamaze classes, CPR, smoking cessation, weight management classes, babysitting workshops, and a host of seminars on current health topics.

Community health fairs and screenings are also part of JSMC's outreach, helping to encourage individuals to take an active role in their health and to instruct them in healthful lifestyle and disease prevention methods.
