Within the new Jennie Stuart Outpatient Medical Imaging Center, we are proud to offer digital mammography services.
Digital mammography is now considered the most accurate technique to screen for breast cancer, surpassing film mammography for most patients. Whether your visit is for your annual screening procedure or if you are experiencing a problem, your mammogram will be performed by a dedicated mammographer in a pleasant environment, and your images will be interpreted by an expert in women's imaging.
Our mammography equipment is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which is a stamp of approval for both the equipment and staff providing the mammograms. Also, all radiologists who read the mammograms are board certified.
Mammograms are recommended for women 35 years or older to help detect breast cancer. Women with a family history of breast cancer should consider having a mammogram at a younger age.
