|  | Our 5th floor unit also located in the Medical Tower has 26 private rooms dedicated to medical patients with an emphasis on the Hospitalists patients. The 5th floor unit is one of 32 units nationwide to be part of the TCAB (Transforming Care At the Bedside) initiative cosponsored by The American Organization of Nurse Executives along with The Robert Woods Johnson Foundation. The unit has the capacity to provide continuous oxygen saturation monitoring as well as telemetry. Our goal is to provide comprehensive care to all our patients. Many of our nurses are chemotherapy certified, hold basic arrhythmia certifications as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certifications. The mission of the 5th floor Hospitalist/Medical unit is to provide patient-centered safe and reliable care for every patient, every day. The vision of the 5th floor is to strive to become a leader in providing a culture of exceptional service to our community, to promote and maintain continuous quality health care services without compromise and to create the healthcare environment providers want to work in and be cared for in. | |
