|  | The 8th floor also located in the Medical Tower has the capacity for 19 patients all housed in private rooms dedicated to orthopedic patients. This unit also serves as a medical overflow unit for medical patients. Our unit provides comprehensive care to all patients but focuses mainly on serving patients with orthopedic injuries or those that have undergone orthopedic surgery. The mission of the orthopedic/medical-surgical nursing unit is to provide patient centered, safe and reliable care in a quality manner showing respect and courtesy for all patients and families. The 8th floor is an active leader in quality health care services for persons of all ages, stages of disease, and wellness. The unit provides the best value and services without compromising quality. The 8th floor also promotes and maintains an environment which values the relationships of employees, physicians and the community, while continuously improving systems and processes together as technology and change dictate. | |
