JSMC adds ENT, primary care physician to roster

HOPKINSVILLE—Charles “Bill” Bosch, DO, FOCO, a board-certified otolaryngologist, has joined the Medical Staff of Jennie Stuart Medical Center, relocating from Helena, Ark. Dr. Bosch had opened a private practice in Hopkinsville, Christian Ear, Nose and Throat.
He describes himself as a highly personable and spirited physician with 35 years of experience in adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat care, non-asthma-related allergies, and office laser surgery. Previously, he was Lt. Commander, U.S. Navy Medical Corps, battalion surgeon, 1st Marine Division. Dr. Bosch can be reached at (270) 885-5525.
Matthew D. Smith, MD, family medicine, also has become a member of JSMC Medical Staff and joined Generations primary care physician practice, Hopkinsville. Dr. Smith recently completed a three-year residency in family medicine at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, Ky. He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Louisville Medical School, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
He has worked at several hospital emergency departments in Kentucky. He also taught support groups on cancer and cardiovascular disease at T.J. Sampson. Dr. Smith can be reached at (270) 887-6767.
