JSMC awards two college scholarships

 HOPKINSVILLE— Riley Thrush (2nd from left), of Todd County, and Katy Burgess, of Christian County, are recipients of the Henry Bell Scholarship from Jennie Stuart Medical Center and its Medical Staff. Posing with them are Veerabhadra Chirravuri, MD, president of the Medical Staff (left) and Eric Lee, president & CEO, JSMC. Thrush plans to study medicine at The University of Pittsburgh. Burgess plans to attend Hopkinsville Community College then go on to study nursing. Each receives a $2,000 scholarship. |
