JSMC names new controller

HOPKINSVILLE—Jim W. Bishop, CPA, is the new controller at Jennie Stuart Medical Center (JSMC), reporting to Sam Brown, vice president, Finance. Bishop joined JSMC from Quorum Health Resources, Brentwood, Tennessee, where he worked for 11 years, the last five as a regional financial analyst.
Previously, he was chief financial officer at Bedford County Medical Center, Shelbyville, Tennessee, and Rhea Medical Center, Dayton, Tennessee. He has worked in healthcare finance for more than 20 years.
Bishop earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
