We believe that you are an important member of you or your loved ones healthcare team. If a noticeable medical change occurs in the patient, immediately notify your healthcare team (i.e. nurses, physicians). If after speaking with your nurse or physician, you continue to worry about how your loved one’s care is being provided, contact the hospital’s Medical Response Team (MRT).
Dial 200 from any hospital phone and request the MRT.
Tell the operator your name, room number, and patient name.
An announcement will be made overhead indicating a “MRT to room ___”, and a team of medical professionals will come to the patient’s bedside to assess the situation. | |
